Toni Collins, web master for SupermanBobHoliday.com, said the weekend was the most fun she’s had in years. The events of Sunday did not disappoint.

A small group of fans drove to Benedict Canyon just to see the house where George Reeves had lived. One was brave enough to knock on the door. The homeowner, Michael, welcomed us as honored guests!

We spent a delightful hour chatting with him, and we’ll always remember our visit. Most important, Michael asked us to remember this house not as the house where George Reeves died, but as the house where lived. We all promised we’d do so.

Knowing what dedicated fans comprised our group, Michael gave us a souvenir. Michael had saved a part of the fencing dating from the time that George Reeves lived in the home, and he graciously gave a slat to our group. It passed from one to the other, and eventually SupermanBobHoliday.com web master Toni Collins was given the honor of taking it home. It has become a valued part of her Superman collection.
