There are no markings, newspaper clippings, or notes on the back of this photo. Given that Ms.Marand's name is printed on the front, we suspect this was one of her
many publicity photos. It's dated in the upper right-hand corner, "Nov 1, 1961," and inscribed, "To Howard With Love, Patricia." Patricia Marand's beauty really shines forth in
this photo. In just five years, she would be playing the character that defined her career: Lois Lane.
