Bob Holiday, Broadway's First Superman
Bob Holiday's Publicity Portfolio
The Steven Thompson Collection
Steven Thompson has generously shared clippings from his collection with SupermanBobHoliday.com, and we are incredibly grateful. This article from the "Sun" Newspaper, dateline November 21,1965, described the audition process and why Bob Holiday was chosen for the iconic role of Superman.
Auditioning
In hindsight, no one else could have played Superman so masterfully. Bob Holiday believed in the role and embodied our hero. It bears repeating, Bob Holiday is the first Superman to have flown in real time in front of a live audience!
